  The room was beautiful and clean, loved the deep spa bath and the gorgeous bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was lovely, modern and clean.
  We had breakfast there too which was tasty and great value and the staff at the restaurant and at check in were really helpful and friendly.

  How do l describe this Hotel? It is really a two sided coin. Reception and restaurant including staff and food were exceptional. Service was very efficient and friendly and the food was outstanding with a great selection of quality wines. But that is where it ends. My partner and l picked what we thought was a little more expensive Spa Room. For the amount of money we paid we were extremely disappointed. The room was very "tired" and not well maintained. Their were no bedside lamps or lights, the light at the desk had a blown globe. In the bathroom their was a major stain in the actual hand basin that looked extremely unsightly and the chrome was peeling off all the vanity draw handles. For what we paid we felt that it was very expensive, fortunately the king size bed was extremely comfortable.

  Great clean refurbished room. Breakfast was included and the coffee was so good. Located not waking distance from main part of Tanunda, so book transport in advanced if drinking. Staff were great on front desk. Rooms tidied and topped up each day. 'All you need in room facilities'

  We had such an excellent, comfortable stay here for the last 3 nights!
  The staff are just fabulous, very helpful and accommodating to our needs as we bought our young cat with us too !!
  We had breakfast here each morning which was wonderful and not overly priced.
  Would thoroughly recommend and would stay here again in a heart beat

  We absolutely loved our experience at Barossa Weintal Hotel. The location was amazing, with so many amenities and wineries walking distance from the hotel. If driving, you can get to most places in the Barossa Valley in under 15 minutes, and downtown Tanunda in only 2 minutes. The rooms were renovated and felt fresh and new. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. We had our dog with us, and she even got a welcome pack of treats, and water and food bowls with a dog bed and dog blanket, both of which were clean. We sadly didn’t get our room cleaned, but this was because the weather was too hot for us to take our dog out for long enough for them to turn it around - so it was our choice! Housekeeping did check in with us, and we were the ones who opted not to have a clean. But they made sure we had enough toilet paper and fresh towels when we needed them. We would gladly return here and stay every time we come to the Barossa in the future. The price point was spot on for what we were expecting and to be honest the quality surpassed our expectations!
